Forrest was born May 5, 2003.

Forrest was our very first Silken and he gave us a spectacular introduction to the Silken Windhounds. We originally were looking for a puppy to grow up and play with our whole family. Forrest was just too special to pass up, we had heard of his loving and enthusiastic personality from those lucky folks who attended Silkenfest 2004. He had so many near misses finding his forever home there, but there was always “something” that kept him at the ranch. We feel like he was always meant to live here and is Bobbie’s very special Golden Boy.
His personality charms everyone he meets and he never misses an opportunity to greet someone new. He has made it his mission to be the first to the front door to greet our guests in style.
